In-home kitchen consultation & design fees:

     • up to 25 km from DoM - $350 +GST

      • >25 km from DoM - $350 + $1.50/additional km one way

Service includes:

•  Travel to site
•  1 to 1.5-hour on-site comprehensive design consultation of one kitchen
• The measure of finished room dimensions, including doors, windows, and other relevant structures
• Confirmation of electrical, water, gas, and venting positions
• Assessment of floor and walls to determine if level and/or plumb
• Verification of appliance specifications
• Up to 3hrs of design time ( additional design time is available in 1-hour blocks at $50/hr
• A drawing and 3D rendering of your new kitchen plan in the IKEA Kitchen Planner
• One-hour review of new layout cabinet by cabinet
• A complete list and price of required IKEA materials
• A complete quote for installation

KITCHEN INSTALLATION.  With each design service, you will receive a complete quote for the installation of your IKEA kitchen products. Installation includes:

        • Placing and managing your IKEA kitchen product order

        • Shipping and handling of your IKEA kitchen products

        • Layout and final measurement consultation on installation

        • Installing, shimming, and leveling the cabinet supporting rail

        • Leveling cabinets and preparing for countertop installation

        • Unpacking, assembling, and installing all cabinet frames

        • Installation of all doors, drawers, pull-outs, and lighting (if applicable)

         • Cutting and installing panels, decorative trim, and toe kicks

         • Installing handles and pulls

         • Installing shelves

         • Cutting and installing filler pieces, as required

• Additional daily travel charges may apply for installation locations beyond 25km of our shop

 

Please note that DoM does not provide plumbing, electrical, flooring, or HVAC services, but we are happy to refer you to some great contractors!
